Abstract :
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into facilities maintenance is transforming the way building systems
are managed and maintained. AI technologies such as predictive maintenance, machine learning (ML), natural language
processing (NLP), and computer vision are enabling facilities managers to optimize maintenance processes, reduce
downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. This paper explores the role of AI in improving various aspects of facilities
maintenance, including predictive analytics, automation of routine tasks, and enhanced decision-making capabilities. The
research discusses the benefits, challenges, and future trends of AI in the field of facilities maintenance, providing insights
into how AI can contribute to the sustainability and long-term performance of buildings.
