Abstract :
This paper reviews specific policies on
human resources in the tourism sector in the short and
medium term based on the role of science and education
based on research and data. There are 60 literature
reviews on the portrait of tourism before and after the
Covid-19 pandemic, including policies issued by the
Indonesian government at this time. The findings
recommend that local government reform and review
tourism development planning, emphasize Resilience,
Adaptation, Transformation, Sustainable Tourism,
human resource guidance, and strengthen the quality
and quantity of tourism demand and supply.
Furthermore, the government needs to continue to
improve the Penthahelix collaboration strategy,
especially with tourism institutions that play a role in
shaping human resources, so that they are more optimal
in tourism development in the new normal era.
