Abstract : This paper presents a discussion on the sustainability of virtual laboratories in education. It is a literature review paper which outlined the importance of virtual laboratories as well as the challenges to the sustainability of virtual laboratories. Ways of enhancing sustainability such as resource maintenance and maximum usage of virtual laboratories were explained. When proper design, development and implementation of virtual laboratories are wellcoordinated, these can help the learning process.
