Abstract :
This research aims to study and analyze the
influence of 5S implementation on occupational safety
and health and work productivity at PT. XYZ, a
hydraulic excavator manufacturer company in
Indonesia. The data used is the primary data that gets
the results of a closed questionnaire. The scale used is
semantic differential. This research is research with a
quantitative approach with a sample number of 220
samples. The method is structural equation modeling
(SEM) using AMOS 24 software. Results showed that the
implementation of 5S has a positive effect on
occupational safety and health and work productivity as
well as occupational safety and health has positive effect
on work productivity. The implementation of 5S and
occupational safety and health, especially the discipline
(shitsuke) and safety environment should be improved to
increase work productivity.
