Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the effect of training quality, coworker support, and compensation on the
performance of Family Planning Extension Officers in Makassar City and to examine the moderating role of length of
service in these relationships. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The
population consisted of 105 active Family Planning Extension Officers in Makassar City. A saturated sampling (census)
technique was applied, in which all members of the population were selected as respondents. Data were collected through
questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS
software. The results indicate that training quality, coworker support, and compensation have a positive and significant
effect on the performance of Family Planning Extension Officers. In contrast, length of service does not have a significant
effect on employee performance. Furthermore, length of service does not moderate the relationships between training
quality, coworker support, and compensation with employee performance. These findings suggest that improving training
quality, strengthening coworker support, and providing appropriate compensation are essential factors in enhancing the
performance of Family Planning Extension Officers, whereas length of service does not strengthen or weaken the
relationships between these variables and performance.
