Abstract :
With the increasing integration of autonomous vehicles (AVs) into modern transportation systems, cybersecurity has become a critical concern. The reliance of AVs on complex software and communication systems makes them vulnerable to cyber-attacks, which can lead to devastating consequences for both vehicle occupants and pedestrians. This paper examines the importance of cybersecurity in autonomous vehicles, presents a review of existing security protocols, and proposes potential methods for enhancing their security. Through a risk analysis and comparison of various techniques, we aim to provide insight into effective strategies for safeguarding AVs against cyber threats.
