Abstract :
This paper examines two dimensions of talent management and their relationship with succession planning at Amref Health Africa in Kenya: talent acquisition practices and employee training practices. It draws on a completed research project that used a descriptive research design and questionnaire data from 137 respondents at the organisation’s Kenya Country Office. The analysis is restricted to the first two specific objectives: assessing the influence of talent acquisition practices on succession planning and determining the effect of employee training practices on succession planning.
