Abstract :
This paper covers the growth of mutual fund
industry for a period of 5 years and also studies the impact
of covid 19 on this industry. The factors chosen to study
the growth are rise in value of asset under management
(AUM) and the rise in number of various types of schemes
like open ended, close ended, equity oriented, debt oriented
etc. The data for this paper is taken from a reliable source
AMFI (Association of Mutual Fund Industry in India),
analyzed and proper conclusions are been drawn. The
paper will also make investors aware about the preferred
choice of investment in this industry.
