Abstract :
Nigeria is typically an agrarian society with most of the
population involved in agriculture. Though Nigeria derives
much of its revenue from the oil sector, agriculture is still an
important sector of the economy as agriculture is an important
source of raw materials for both domestic consumption and for
export. Agriculture provides the needed revenue as well as the
provision of employment for the teeming population.
