This study aims to find and understand the meaning of Mangali culture in practicing the responsibility of CSR recipients for the CSR funds they receive. This research is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach because it is expected to be able to explore essential meanings. Data were obtained by conducting interviews, checking documents, and conducting literacy reviews from various sources. The informants in this study were employees at PT ABC who handled the CSR department and CSR recipient communities. The results of the study show that Mangali culture which emphasizes shame or embarrassment can be the starting point for improvement in reports on the use of CSR funds from recipients. With the existence of Mangali culture, CSR recipients will voluntarily make reports on the use of CSR funds even without orders from the CSR provider.
