Abstract :
Digital technology adoption is central to banking operations, but its sustained implementation depends on organisational leadership as well as the availability of technology. This paper examines two dimensions of strategic leadership—leadership communication and strategic risk orientation—and their relationships with digital technology adoption at Kenya Commercial Bank Limited (KCB). It draws on a cross-sectional survey of employees at KCB Headquarters in Nairobi. The study population comprised 145 employees, from whom a stratified random sample of 106 was selected.
