Abstract :
This study aims to reveal Islamic Household
Accounting for coastal communities in the Tomini Bay
Area. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The
stages of the research began with (1) in-depth interviews
with coastal communities in the Tomini Bay Area and (2)
Observation of the activities of coastal community groups
in the Tomini Bay Area. The results of the study show that
Islamic Household Accounting for coastal communities is
delegated to the role of a wife. In terms of making decisions
regarding finances, keep making various considerations,
one of which is the family's ability to pay off loans. What
is unique in terms of making financial decisions is the habit
of giving alms according to the ability of each household.
Charity is an Islamic value that underlies the lives of
coastal communities in the Tomini Bay Area.
