Abstract :
Background
Renal calculi remain a significant cause of morbidity worldwide, with conventional management often providing partial
relief and limited improvement in renal function. Integrative protocols combining dietary regulation, targeted supplementation,
and lifestyle interventions may offer a complementary pathway.
Objective
To evaluate the clinical outcomes and patient experiences associated with integrative therapy in renal calculi management.
Methods
Patients with renal calculi and associated renal dysfunction were managed using integrative protocols at a specialized
wellness center. Clinical monitoring included ultrasonography, serum creatinine, and eGFR assessments. Patient experiences
were documented through follow-up consultations.
Results
Integrative therapy was associated with reduction in stone burden, normalization of renal function parameters, and >80%
symptom relief within 4–6 weeks. Patients consistently reported improved quality of life, resolution of pain, nocturia, and
burning micturition.
Conclusion
Integrative protocols in renal calculi management demonstrated clinically meaningful outcomes comparable to
conventional care, with the added benefit of high patient satisfaction and acceptability. These findings support the feasibility of
integrative approaches as adjuncts in renal stone management.
