Abstract :
Social movements and social change are
linked because they can serve both as catalysts forchange
and as sources of inspiration for new movements. Social
movements can succeed inachieving their goals, leading
to significant social change, or fail to achieve their goals,
causing disillusionment and frustration among their
members.
