Abstract :
This review summarizes the advancement in
liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer is a
hyphenated technique of separation of compounds. over
the past years, the combination 0f high-performance
liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS)
has been used which has a remarkable effect on drug
research and development. LC-MS played a vital role in
the assessment and interpretation of bioavailability and
bioequivalence. This article reviews the principle of
LCMS analysis using liquid chromatography and mass
spectrometry. Mass spectrometry comprises 3 important
parts that are ionization source, mass analyzer, and
detector.
Keywords :
spectrometry; bioequivalence; chromatography; mass analyzer; bioavailability.
