Abstract :
This study examined how commercialisation awareness, ethical motivation, institutional support and prior innovation or entrepreneurship experience are associated with science innovation engagement among pre-service teachers in Nigeria. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 300 National Certificate in Education students drawn from a state college of education in Southern Kaduna. Data were collected with the Science Innovation, Commercialisation, and Ethical Motivation Scale and analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, multiple regression, t-tests and ANOVA. Students reported favourable innovation orientations, but institutional support and direct participation in practical innovation activities were comparatively weaker.
