Abstract :
An investigation of mixed mode fracture of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams with 1% volume fraction of two different steel fibres SFRC1, SFRC2 having different aspect ratios and plain concrete is done here using concrete beams. The notch is considered(a/b) ratio as a constant 0.47 with different offset ratios 0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6. Steel fibres used which areA)Circular corrugated hook-end type steel fibres and B) Flat Corrugated Zigzag Type Steel Fibre of two different aspect ratio viz. 46.66 (Type A) & 45.55 (Type B).
