Abstract :
Financial literacy helps develop financial knowledge and decision‑making skills regarding saving and investment options. Given the importance of investment knowledge, financial literacy helps educated women choose among investment options and understand the associated risks. An individual's education level contributes to the investment decision-making process. It does not necessarily guarantee financial knowledge or competence. The study aims to measure the financial literacy level of educated women in Chennai, analyze their investment decision‑making behavior, and examine the relationship between Financial literacy and investment decision‑making. The study uses a research design and collects primary data from 151 educated women in Chennai through a well‑structured questionnaire. The study analyzed the collected data using statistical tools to examine relationships between the variables. The correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship between financial literacy and investment decision‑making. The findings provide insight into the financial literacy level and investment decision‑making behavior of educated women in Chennai. It highlights the importance of improving financial knowledge to support informed investment decisions.
