Abstract :
The researcher aims to explain the preferred teaching strategies of the criminal justice faculty of Cavite State
University – Bacoor City Campus, in which the result of the study will be able to produce a pedagogical training program
to address the challenges on the teaching strategies of every faculty. The study employed descriptive survey method
research design since its purpose is to obtain and present facts regarding the preferred teaching strategies for criminology
program in the 21st century at Cavite State University Bacoor City Campus. The researchers employed a descriptive
method using the survey approach, frequency, percentage, weighted mean, four – point Likert scale, and T-test to assess
relevant information that served the purpose of the study. As a result, there is a significant difference on the assessments of
the two groups of respondents on the preferred teaching strategies for criminology program in the 21st century at Cavite
State University Bacoor City Campus in terms of Community Engagement, Technology Integration, Collaborative
Learning and Case Studies and Real-world Example. Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected. As recommended by the
researcher; To support the integration of interdisciplinary approach, it is necessary to generate extra resources for faculty
development, course restructuring, and collaborative research initiatives; A specialized unit must be created to ensure
meticulous planning and coordination when developing an interdisciplinary curriculum that seamlessly incorporates
concepts and methodologies from multiple disciplines; Academic institutions must acquire additional financial resources,
allocate staff time, and receive logistical support to prevent budget constraints or a lack of dedicated staff for effectively
coordinating community engagement activities, as community engagement initiatives often necessitate.
