Abstract :  Background: Metabolic syndrome (MS) is one of the emerging health problem and is rising with the adoption of modern life style. This will affect on morbidity and mortality of the people.  Objectives  To assess the MS prevalence among the rural adult population.  To find out the associated predictors of MS among rural adults.
