Abstract :
This type of qualitative research uses a
phenomenological approach, while the results show that
the concept of empowerment is needed to encourage
community economic growth and independence,
empowerment activities are carried out in order to meet
the needs of the community, especially traditional traders,
the concept of empowerment can be in the form of
training, guidance accompanied by aspects of supervision,
so that In its implementation, synergy is needed between
all stakeholders, the concept of empowerment must start
from the government, supported by the business world
and the world of education, meaning that the
responsibility for empowerment is not only from the
government but also involves other elements.
