In this paper we present a technique for image segmentation. The proposed method is a combination of region based segmentation and edge based segmentation. A spatial database is used in collaboration with the homogeneous function that predicts the next pixel to be included in the contour based on spatial database. Experimental results show that the technique has high true positive rate.
