Abstract :
Dehulling of African breadfruit seeds is a
difficult task and it requires more than 70% of the total
time of operation in the processing of the seeds.
However, it enhances and prolongs the shelf life of the
seeds during preservation. A gasoline engine powered
dehulling machine was designed, fabricated and tested.
There is a noticeable impact of speed and time on the
performance of the machine at the required 5% level of
significance.
