Abstract :
This paper presents the design and
implementation of a scalable point of sale (POS) system
using the Laravel framework. The system is designed to
be flexible, robust, and scalable, allowing it to adapt to
the needs of businesses of different sizes and industries.
The system is built on the Model-View-Controller (MVC)
architecture, which provides a clear separation of
concerns, making it easier to maintain and extend the
system. The system also incorporates advanced features
such as inventory management, real-time sales reporting,
and customer relationship management (CRM). These
features are integrated seamlessly into the system to
provide a comprehensive solution for businesses. The
system is also designed to be secure, with features such as
user authentication, role-based access control, and data
encryption. The system's scalability and efficiency are
demonstrated through performance testing, which shows
that the system can handle high volumes of transactions
without slowing down. Overall, the system provides a
powerful and reliable solution for businesses looking for a
modern, scalable POS system.
