Abstract :
Highlighting the importance of understanding
failure modes and loadings for effective design and
optimization, it emphasizes the role of design parameters
like thickness, design pressure, and allowable stresses in
influencing performance, efficiency, and safety. The
incorporation of commonly used codes, especially the
ASME pressure vessel code, adds a practical dimension
to the discussion, emphasizing industry standards in the
design and analysis of pressure vessels.
