Abstract :
Power flow solution is the ultimate solution
for determining the unknown parameters of a power
system. The suitable operation of the system depends on
knowing the losses in the system, like those of loads and
transmission lines, before they are installed. This paper
presents a load flow analysis approach that uses particle
swarm optimization algorithm. The method introduced
helps to find the best solution for improving the bus
voltage of the network and minimize corresponding
losses. To find the optimal solution to the problem, an
IEEE 6 bus is used to present the case.
